Effective Open Houses

Everyone knows that open houses can help you find buyers as well as get the property sold… especially in a sellers market.  Top performing agents understand that if done correctly open houses can also create listing opportunities each and every time you leverage them correctly.  So what is the key? First and foremost understanding that there is a way to conduct them that is more than just putting out cookies and hoping the neighbors stop in.  Social media allows you to reach out with a strong message about the sales process more than just about opening the doors over the weekend.  Being part of their community and giving them the chance to learn and share the property creates engagement and a bond that with some follow up turns into trust.  The trust that allows you to become their real estate agent of choice.
